1. Inspect Annually: Plan to do a visual inspection of your stucco at least once per year. Examine the entire surface, paying close attention to areas around windows, doors, patio covers, and any protrusions. Look for hairline cracks, holes, loose stucco, drainage issues, previous repairs, etc. Checking for minor damage regularly makes repairs far less costly.
2. Clean Every Few Years: While stucco itself doesn't need heavy-duty cleaning (just hose it down!), the dirt that accumulates does. Have your exterior professionally pressure washed every 2-3 years.
